Baby Boomers Thrives at the Los Altos and Mountain View Senior Centers

Seniors in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Mountain View are increasingly opting to grow old in their own homes (instead of a retirement facility) and head over to the senior centers near their neighborhoods to socialize, play games and have a good time. The senior centers offers classes, programs and special outings designed specifically for older adults. Studies shows that staying active and keeping in touch with friends leads to a happier and longer life!
 
Los Altos has two senior centers to accommodate residents in both the south and north sections of the city: 
  • The Los Altos Senior Center, located at 97 Hillview Avenue 
  • Grant Park Senior Drop-In Center, located at 1575 Holt Avenue (this facility currently operates 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays only)

The Mountain View Senior Center, located at 266 Escuela Avenue, is a full-service center that offers health services and organizes outings.
